Video Text: Agiorghitiko is a variety of really my region. You know it is a variety, it is a red grape existing there from antiquity. It has changed name, change clones, changed, you know all the stories, phylloxera and everything but still there. and Agiorghitiko it’s a variety producing you know very simple wines. It is very easy to produce everyday wines. It is able to produce several types of wines. We call Agiorghitiko a poly-dynamic grape. It is normally thin skinned. These thin skins it’s not very very you know it’s not it’s not like a Cabernet. it is like a pinot noir. That is to say that the wine it becomes round with without all those big tannins can affect the mouth and the style it is very gentle. So the one from Agiorghitiko…. let me let me describe the wine the wine from Agiorghitiko first of all on the nose it is all about small red fruits you know berries, cassis, cerises (cherries) All this kind of red fruits.. strawberries. So this is one one thing and another thing it is a touch of carnation you know the which is a little bit spicy that’s that’s the nose of Agiorghitiko. And then when you have the Agiorghitiko in the mouth you have a round wine. Very velvet wine normally something like that. And it’s a style we like to have because you know it’s a very friendly style.
