Wine Education 101: Jens Windisch on Spätburgunder?

What is Spätburgunder? German Pinot Noir, locally called Spatburgunder, is discussed by German winemaker Jens Windisch of Werther Windisch in the Rheinhessen. Can one make a “perfect pinot”? Jens says striking the right balance in a Pinot Noir is quite hard. Jens sat with Ask a Winemaker during a trip to Germany sponsored by Wines of Germany and this video was produced with their support.
