Super Easy Chinese Style Vongole • Stir Fried Clams in Chinese Wine Recipe 醉啦啦

You might have tried drunken prawns 醉虾 but how about making some clams drunk as well :p~~~

To be fair, clams have got to be one of the easiest main ingredients to use and no matter how you cook it (oh well, kinda), you will never get wrong with them. This dish of drunken vongole 醉啦啦 is basically an idea adaptation of the popular Chinese Drunken Prawns except that we’re not using any Chinese herbs to prepare this dish.

Ingredients:
Serves 4
1kg of vongole or white clams
4 pieces of shallots – sliced
4 pieces of garlic – minced
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of salted soya beans
1 tablespoon of black soya bean paste
1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking wine or Shaoxing huatiao wine
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
2 tablespoons of Chinese rice wine
2 tablespoons of light soya sauce
1 thumb size ginger – sliced thinly
3 – 4 stalks of spring onion (cut into about 4cm long)
2 pieces of red chilli (cut into strips)
