Wines of Zagreb County

Zagreb County, except great sceneries, has two more aces up its sleeves – wineries! While visiting Korak and Kos-Jurišić Winery, we learned a lot about harvesting, making and drinking wine. Korak Vinery is located in Plešivica an is famous for making both red and white Wine, while Zelina’s Kos-Jurišić Winery is making only white wine, mostly the famous Kraljevina sort. In this video you will learn what kind of grapes are used for making great wine, what roses have to do with making it, how and when to harvest grapes, in which barrels the wine is made and how to properly taste and drink wine.
