Grenache on Limestone : Terroir in Languedoc

Winemaker and grape grower Emmanuel Pageot of Turner-Pageot in Languedoc, France talks about the effects of soil types on the Grenache grape variety. In one small area vines planted on varied soils produce dramatically different flavors in the final wine. Terroir is wonderful thing. Here Emanuel discusses Grenache grown on Limestone. He sat down with Ask a Winemaker at Red and White Wines in Chicago in 2013.
