Announcing Wine Spectator’s 18th Annual Video Contest

Does wine add something special to your life? A way to connect with friends and family, a chance to travel the world without even leaving the table, a reason to head out of town to explore other regions, countries or cultures? Share why you love wine by submitting your short video to Wine Spectator’s 18th Annual Video Contest. This year, we’ve added a new category to make it easier than ever to enter!

In addition to our traditional, horizontal “Premier Video” format, in which entrants have up to two minutes to tell their stories, we’ve now created a separate category for “Short-Form Social Videos.” These vertical videos—similar to TikToks or Reels—are 30 seconds or less, with more emphasis on creating fun, compelling moments around wine than on top-notch production quality.

Anyone can enter either category—whether you’re a wine lover, work in the wine or restaurant industry, or are a student of film, culinary arts or viticulture and enology. (You just need to be 21 or older.)

How to Enter

1. Shoot

Feel free to use your iPhone, Android, GoPro, DSLR or video camera. You don’t need professional video equipment or a big budget to win in either category.

2. Have Fun!

Don’t be afraid to get creative and enjoy the process—it’ll show in your video! We’re looking for great storytelling and a passion for wine.

3. Watch the Time and Dates

Premier Video submissions cannot exceed 2 minutes in length.

Short-Form Social Video submissions cannot exceed 30 seconds in length.

Get all the rules and submit your short video to us online by Tuesday, Sept. 3.

See Your Work Celebrated

The winning video and the other finalists’ videos will be showcased on WineSpectator.com and/or Wine Spectator’s social media accounts.
