Wine Education 101: Elisabetta Fagiuoli describes Colorino.

What is Colorino? This minor red grape imparts a lot of color into red blends, often in Tuscany where it plays a role in Chianti and Chianti Classico. Elisabetta Fagiuoli of Sono Montenidioli describes it as a grape that is inky and dark but too heavy.
