Wine Spectator’s 2022 Wine of the Year

When it comes to Napa Valley, Cabernet is king. But entering the Cabernet kingdom comes at a price, typically a big one. Most top wines cost 200, 300, 500 dollars or more. It’s no surprise that the question I’m asked the most is, what’s a great Napa Cabernet that doesn’t cost so much?

Wine Spectator’s 2022 Wine of the Year is Schrader Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Double Diamond 2019.
