The Pisoni Family helped put Santa Lucia Highlands on the California Wine Map. Jeff’s dad Gary was the first to plant the Pinot sticks in the ground back in the early 80’s establishing the region as one of the best for the grape to “do it’s thing”. Years later Jeff has assumed the winemaker role for the Pisoni family and he’s on hand in this episode to talk ‘Lucia Legacy’, what it was like to have a wine savant for a father, and all things in between.
