This is not actually a natural wine as they use a bit of insecticide and fungicide in the vineyard. However it is made with minimal intervention and is under 50ppm total SO2. I have included it as it is a gateway wine which is getting people into natural wine and bridging the gap between big commercial wineries and small scale artisanal wines.

I understand this is a controversial producer, there have been accusations of exploitation of workers. I trust the explanation given by the UK importer (les caves de pyrene) and the audits carried out on behalf of government monopolies (such as Norway) which found the working conditions to be satisfactory. In this case I decided to include this wine because it is still being sold and we can raise awareness.
