▢1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
▢1 tablespoon oyster sauce
▢1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
▢1/4 teaspoon five spice powder
▢2-3 cups water (including shiitake mushroom soaking water)

▢1/4 cup scallions (chopped, white and green parts)
▢salt to taste (optional, likely not needed)
